She She X The Pillsbury Castle Project

The Before and After of this historically preserved remodel in Minneapolis is an install that we are SO proud of - not only for the story that goes along with the design as well as the respected original architect of the home. The design is inspired by the homeowner's (Trettel and Hanson) as well as Henri Matisse's "The Dance," (installed at The Barnes Foundation) and wraps the grand staircase and second floor hallway.

A few of our favorites from the design include Prospect Refuge Studio X Hennepin Made’s sconce against our design as well as a flush mount light tassel in a children’s bathroom designed by Lucy Interiors. This design and install would have never come together without the insight and vision of Vela Interior Design, we love you ladies!

The Pillsbury Castle Project is near and dear to us for a number of reasons, but most importantly, we love when an old home is preserved as opposed to demolished. The family that is moving into this space has the same mindset and we know that their family will create memories in the most charmed way for years to come.
