Ditch. Gallery

The year was 2017 and as the weather started to warm, we deemed the upcoming months the "Summer of Love" and moved forward as our words to live by. Ditch Gallery was the first time we created a collective body of work surrounding a theme and the ideas poured out of us while designing around this bright, unified romantic objective we prepared for ourselves.

We hand-painted two large canvases with what appears to be lively and fun patterns that are a modern reflection of what the original Summer of Love was fighting for fifty years prior. Acknowledging what our country was and still is experiencing in its current climate.

The designs were circular and inclusive in nature with a bit of textured, rough reality over top.

The celebration of Love went much longer than we (or the gallery) expected and we want to thank everyone for their support and a nearly sold out show.
